Tara Linney

Founder

Tara Linney is an international, award-winning educator, who has helped several schools nationally and internationally with launching and sustaining effective 1:1 programs over the course of the last decade. She holds an M.S. in the Science of Instruction from Drexel University and a certification as an Instructional Technology Specialist. In 2016, she received the 21st Century Learning Award for Innovation in Educational Coaching. Since the start of her career in Education, Tara has played an active role in many professional communities. In 2017, she served as the ISTE Global Collaboration PLN President, where she led an organizational pivot to focus on SDGs in Education. She has had the privilege to speak at over 100 conferences in 10 different countries and online, impacting the work of thousands of educators all around the world. Tara is also the author of Code Equity: Keying Girls into Coding, as a guide for educators looking to make a more equitable learning environment for their students, particularly in the teaching of computer science topics. Andrea Cook

Andrea Cook is one of our Mentors for Google Certified Coaches. She has served in education for over 25 years. Currently, Andrea works as a Digital Learning Coordinator for Kansas City Public Schools in Kansas City, MO. In her role, Andrea provides professional development to over 1,000 teachers within her school district along with many other educators from across the country. Andrea has presented Internationally at the Family Online Safety Institute, ISTE, Googlepalooza, MORENET and has been published in ASCD on Flipped Model Professional Development. Dr. Kaylah Holland

Dr. Kaylah Holland is one of our Mentors for Google Certified Coaches. She is passionate about empowering educators through practical professional development, one on one coaching, and innovative lesson design. She combines innovation and heart, a dynamite duo, to create student-centered environments that offer a path to success in school and life. She holds a Doctorate of Education and a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology with extensive research in blended, active, and authentic learning environments. She has over ten years of experience empowering educators and championing student-centered classrooms in multiple countries. She is also a collegiate professor and a Google Certified Trainer and Innovator.

Dr. Toutoule Ntoya

Dr. Toutoule Ntoya is one of our Mentors for Google Certified Coaches. He is a founding member of Tech.Teach.Grow. He is an educator dedicated to helping students achieve by working with teachers in professional development and coaching to implement curricula as well as working with students directly using learning and motivation strategies. Dr. Ntoya possesses a doctoral degree from University of Southern California in Urban Education Leadership with a focus on education psychology. He has taught physical science, chemistry, physics, and environmental science in diverse, k-12 learning environments. Dr. Ntoya has experience in a multitude of k-12 spaces which includes supporting students, teachers, departments, school level, and district level personnel in integrating curriculum and technology. His passion lies in working with students, teachers, and leaders to authentically integrate STEAM in the classroom

Makisha Rogers

Makisha Rogers is one of our Mentors for Google Certified Coaches. With over 11 years teaching and coaching experience and a Masters in Instructional Design & Technology, Makisha brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom and educators worldwide. Among her achievements, Makisha is a Certified Google Educator and Trainer, Apple Teacher, a NEA Global Learning Fellow, and has been a featured voice in various education books and articles. Makisha’s expertise includes: Chromebooks, Google Suite, tools and strategies to promote the 4C’s and UDL, Instructional Design in digital environments, engagement strategies for remote learning, authentic assessments, and culturally responsive teaching.

Dr. Sarah Thomas

Sarah Thomas, PhD is one of our Mentors for Google Certified Coaches. She is the founder of EduMatch, a project that empowers educators to make global connections across common areas of interest. She has spoken and presented internationally, participated in the Technical Working Group to refresh the 2017 ISTE Standards for Educators, and is a recipient of the 2017 ISTE Making IT Happen award. She is also an Affiliate Professor at Loyola University in Maryland. Sarah is a co-author of the ISTE Digital equity series, Closing the Gap.

Kat Crawford

Kat supports the design of technology innovation, the transformation of school systems (specifically addressing the needs of alternative schools), and facilitates professional learning for teachers who strive to cultivate engaging work. She brings with her a creative zest, which she applies to her educational technology expertise and certifications. All of her work is driven by her core belief that all students deserve a high-quality education.
